julie.rinehart@borderlinevbc.org Julie has been involved with volleyball her entire life – from helping in her father’s gym, to playing herself, to coaching. She graduated in 2005 from Shawnee High School in Springfield, Ohio, and played four years for their state-ranked Varsity team as setter. She also played for SOJO and MEVC club teams during middle school and high school, and went on to assistant coach for MEVC her senior year. She graduated from American University in 2009 with a B.A. in political science, communications, legal institutions, economics, and government. She also played for AU’s club team and kept score for AU’s varsity team. Julie is currently pursuing her Masters in interdisciplinary communications at the University of Dayton. She aspires to be a community organizer for nonprofit organizations. This is her first season with Borderline. |
