Kim has coached volleyball since 2008 at Ross High School. She coached two years of JV followed by 6 seasons as Varsity coach. Kim ended with an 87-54 record at Ross. She was the SWOC coach of the year in 2013. Her team that year earned the program's 1st league championship. She has coached several players who went on to play at the D2 and D3 levels, respectively. Kim and her husband, Steve, started the MRAA Youth volleyball program in 2011 as well as holding numerous summer camps and clinics. Kim also has held Volley Tots and Kids clinics at Ross for students in Pre-K to 2nd grade.

Kim has coached other sports beside volleyball. She has been Varsity Track & Field Head coach for both the boys and girls at Ross, JV Girls Basketball coach, Freshman Fastpitch coach at McAuley, and been involved with numerous youth programs throughout her coaching career.

Kim is a member of the Butler County Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2013 as well as having her jersey retired at Ross High School for Track & Field. She competed at Miami University-Oxford in Shot Put and Discus and was All MAC in 1992.

Kim has four children, Ryan, Brady, Emma, and Gracelyn and has been married to Steve since 1993. In her spare time, Kim likes to work in the yard and cook. She is a member of White Oak Christian church, where she volunteers in their Children's Ministry.
