All tryouts are at Phillips Hall on the Miami University Oxford campus.
There will be an additional evaluation scheduled for any age group that has more than 40 athletes attending. It is possible that any 17s or 18s that attend tryouts on November 15 will be invited to attend the 16s Additional Evaluation on November 16 (they would still be considered for 17s or 18s).
All athletes (15s-18s) must attend one of the sessions on November 15 to be considered for a team. They do not have to attend their age-specific session on 11/15, but would be required to attend the appropriate Additional Evaluation session.
Athletes that are eligible for 13s may attend tryouts for the 14s on October 31. They may then be invited to return on November 2 or to attend one of the 13s tryouts dates.
It is imperative that you contact Bill Zehler (zehler@borderlinevbc.org) to discuss any conflicts, injuries, or concerns.
Any athlete that gives advanced notice may attend a tryout session for another age group, provided it has been pre-approved. Please refer to the age definitions at www.ovr.org/forms/Age_Definitions.pdf. We will offer American and Regional teams that may have grade level athletes on the roster. Please feel free to sign up for updates from our web site at info@borderlinevbc.org.
There is a nonrefundable $20.00 tryout fee, payable to Borderline Junior Volleyball. Same day registration is $30.00.
There will be 2 informational meetings announced soon. Please attend one of them if you are new to club volleyball. Information about our Youth teams (10s-12s) and the Miami University Women's Volleyball Club Youth Clinic will be posted shortly. We do not limit the number of athletes accepted in these age groups. We will use the first few practices to determine teams based on athleticism and experience.
We are exploring the possibility of a "practice only" option for those that do not want full participation or do not make a team. Our goal is to always include anyone that wants to participate.

Which tryout will you attend? All tryouts wll be held at Phillips Hall. The nonrefundable tryout fee is $20 if paid in advance, or $30 if paid on the day of the tryout. Age definitions are defined at the OVR website.
