Kaepa Borderline Junior Volleyball Tryouts

All tryouts are open to anyone. All tryouts are being held at Phillips Hall on the Miami University campus. Pre-registration is highly recommended, but not mandatory. Go to our website at www.borderlinevbc.org for more specific details. Allow a minimum of 45 minutes to register if you do so at tryouts. There is an on-site registration charge of $30. All athletes will receive numbered tryout T-shirts that they must wear to all tryout sessions they attend.

To pre-register, the following must be sent to Bill Zehler, 1376 Oxford Trenton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45013:

• Kaepa Borderline Profile
• USA Volleyball / Ohio Valley Region Waiver and Release of Liability
• USA Volleyball Medical Release
• $20.00 tryout fee, payable to Borderline Junior Volleyball.
  Same-day registration is $30.00. Timely registration means all forms are completed correctly and submitted with the fee so it is received prior to tryouts.

Any athlete that gives advanced notice may attend a tryout session for another age group, provided it is an age group scheduled for the same weekend. Each age group will have an additional evaluation scheduled, regardless of the number of athletes that attend. All athletes should attend the additional evaluation for their age group. Each athlete is considered for the best team possible. Please refer to the age definitions on our website. We will offer American and Regional teams that may have grade level athletes on the roster.

The fees for our top teams in an age group will be more than $875 if the team opts to play in high-profile tournaments, such as National Qualifiers. Details will be posted on the website and explained in detail at our informational meetings.

There will be two informational meetings in Millett Hall, room 246, on the Miami University Oxford campus. The first will be on Monday, October 24, from 7‑9 pm (This will be the only meeting prior to our 12s', 13s', and 14s' tryouts). The second meeting will be on Tuesday, November 8, from 7‑9 pm. If you have any questions, please bring them to a meeting or have someone attending ask them! We will have acceptance meetings that will be announced at tryouts.
